One stumbling block to the silent seeking for God that is healthy piety is the sense of many rational thinkers that they must have God all figured out before they can have faith in Him (or Her). This is understandable but excessively self-reliant. Because God is so much bigger than we are, we can never get Him pinned to the wall like a butterfly we can study at our leisure. You will never completely understand God the way God can understand you. Complete understanding of God as a precondition for faith is an impossible illusion. This is why St. Augustine proclaimed: “Do not seek to understand that you might have faith; seek faith that you might understand.â€� It is a glorious message. Not only does it make the sequence correct, but it rightly implies that the acquisition of faith will open our eyes to a whole new level of understanding.                                M. May I be thankful for all the blessings I already have. Grant me relief from pain and sickness, protect me from all ills and grant me good health in the days to come. Remove all causes of imperfection and bring Thy Healing Ministers close to me that I may be conscious of their presence and so receive guidance and inspiration. Grant me courage and fortitude to overcome all adversity. let me be conscious of Thy strength in all time of need. Grant me confidence to overcome my fears and not to anticipate harm. Teach me, how to live rightly in Thy sight, to do only that which is right and true. I pray that good guidance and right influencing will inspire all Thy peoples to be as brothers, one to the other, and that peace shall endure for all time.  Amen  Harry Edwards

Ever-present and Compassionate God, In the Name of the Lord Who has spoken to Your servant, let Your Healing come through us, Your servants, for the Glory of Your Name. We thank You that You have heard us. You alone are our God and we have no other God but You. It is You Alone Who is always able to heal, and Your Healing means health for the soul and for the body. Restore the harmonious activity between the mind and the soul, between the soul and the body. Turn the fount of the heart to good and the forces of the body to purposeful work. Let this our brother/sister who is suffering receive Your Mercy that we may all rejoice in the Presence of Your Love, Kindness and power.                                Beinsa Douno
